Natural Acne Skin Care

There are many natural skin care options to treat acne. These are products that may be found in a kitchen cabinet or a grocery store. A natural acne treatment is a good choice since they don’t contain harsh chemicals.

Garlic Cloves- Rubbing garlic cloves around breakouts is a method that has been used for a long time and is a well known acne treatment option.

Wheatgrass Juice- This is one of the most popular options available to naturally treat acne. Drinking the juice does wonders for clearing up acne outbreaks.

Honey and Cinnamon Paste- This mixture is to be applied to the skin every day for two weeks to dry up acne.

Strawberry Leaves- To help reduce swelling of bumps from acne, place a strawberry leaf over the affected area. The alkaline in the leaves helps to relieve the irritation.

Toothpaste- Dot toothpaste over acne affected areas and helps to rduce the swelling of bumps. This does not work with the gel toothpaste, however.

Rose Water- This helps to reduce the appearance of acne when mixed with lemon juice.

Oatmeal Face Mask- A face mask of oatmeal and almond helps to keep skin clean, treats current out breaks and can help to prevent future out breaks.

Cucumbers- This is used by grinding the cucumber until it is a thick paste. It is then applied to the face and used as a mask for half an hour. This will help to diminish the look of a break out.

Honey- A pure, natural honey is effective at killing the bacteria that causes acne. This can be dabbed onto the face to help get rid of the bumps.

Tomato Pulp- Applying the pulp from a ripe tomato can help to clear up acne. This is worn on the face for an hour.

Another natural option to treat acne is by using essential oils. Many of these need to be diluted with a carrier oil and grape seed oil is a good choice since it will not further clog pores.

Tea Tree Oil- This oil is an anti bacterial treatment and also a wound cleanser. This oil helps to treat the acne as well as calming the appearance of the skin.

Clove Oil- This is a very strong oil that clears up acne fast. It cannot be used full strength, however.

Rosewood Oil- This is a good choice for oily skin because it can help to dry the skin out.

There are many natural options for treating acne and this can help to protect skin from harsh chemicals and save lots of money on treatments.
