The SLR Dilema

I have been thinking about upgrading my trusty old Canon Rebel 2000 to a newer digital model SLR.  I already have a digital camera, two actually.  But I really want to be able to get the quality and control of my SLR back.  I have not touched the old Rebel for at least 2 years.  I just cannot bring myself to go through the pain of using real film.  I am spoiled by the digital revolution.

As we get older we undergo many side effects of aging. Our muscles and joints start aching and our memory can start to fade as well. One of the biggest effects of aging is wrinkles. But it is not just age that causes wrinkles. Wrinkles are caused by many factors. The biggest cause of wrinkles is exposure to the sun or ultra-violet rays. Finding the best skin care solution for you

There are no creams or magic potions to reverse damage to the skin as a result of sun exposure. The best care you can give your skin to keep it younger looking and healthy is to take preventative steps to protect it. Tanning beds and smoking also have ill-effects on skin.

If you have a celebrity that you trust, sometimes just going for what they promote is not a bad place to start. Product lines like Cindy Crawford skin care, Cindy exclusively uses and helped develop her own products. There numerus other high profile celebrities that are doing the same thing.

Botanical Skin Care Basics

Posted by Seanna | Beauty

Using plants and herbs to take care of your skin is called botanical skin care. Many skin products contain beneficial bontanicals in them. Some of the products claim that they are botanical, however, they are 99% chemicals. Check the ingredients to be sure that they are really botanical. Some of the products just have a scent added, and the words natural and botanical on the label.

These are the chemicals you should not find on the label of a botanical product. One is Parabens. These are also called methyl, propyl, butyl and ethyl. Dioxane is an unsafe chemical that shouldn’t be found there. Mineral oil can be labeled as liquid paraffin, paraffin wax and petrolatum. The mineral oil can clog pores and actually cause an acne breakout.
